The thermostat controls the temperature of your fridge or freezer. The standard option is either a mechanical fridge or freezer thermostat. These must be clamped to the evaporator plate to sense the correct temperature.
For refrigerators you want to run as both fridge and freezer you can use our full range thermostat (1A020300) which uses an air sensing probe which needs to be mounted a min 50mm away from the evaporator plate and 2/3rd up from the bottom of the box.
There is also the option of a digital thermostat which again uses an air sensing probe, but gives you greater control on the temperature in the fridge and has other functions including low and high temperature alarms.
